Chairman requests information regarding your clubs participation at the 2010 Access Worlds news article
Richard Smallwood (Chairman, Access Class Association (UK) and Access Worlds Organising Committee" sends you the following message.
To all UK Access Sailing Clubs, Organisations and individuals not attached to clubs:
The organisers of the 2010 Access World Championships, to be held at Rutland Sailing Club from 6 - 11 June 2010, are keen to know the number of likely participants, and a questionnaire has been sent to all the overseas Access Class Associations asking them to declare their likely numbers.
We also need to judge the "best guess" of UK participants and so you are asked to complete and return the attached questionnaire To me by 21 February 2009 on richnang@btinternet.com
. (Note this questionnaire is for UK clubs and orgs only international information is available on the following link www.accessclass.org/default.asp?Page=25885 )
To help you, the draft Excel programme is also attached and you will see that it is possible for those with the stamina to participate in a two-person and a single-person class. There is likely to be a 50% supplementary entry fee for those entering in two classes. The formal Notice of Race and Entry Form should be available in August 2009. If you need additional information to help with deciding your numbers, please contact me as soon as possible.
If there is unlikely to be anyone from your club entering the event, please send a simple "Nil Return" email message making it clear who is sending it in.
I look forward to hearing from you by 21 February,
Richard Smallwood
Chairman, ACA(UK) and
Access Worlds Organising Committee"
