Hansa 303 - Sailing for all and Surprisingly Competitive
I wish every Monday started this way !!!
Smiling from ear to ear in hearing the news that Richard Catchpole from Leigh and Lowton Sailing Club entered the winter series handicap fleet in the little Hansa 303. Regarded by some as “ just “ a disability boat…..
Against 22 extremely tasty super nova’s, GP14 , Phantoms and many more !!! Richard managed to get a 1st & 2nd in the six-race format.
It just shows that after Rory Mckinna’s 303 success at the Hansa Worlds in Palermo, Sicily last season and now Richard a solo champion in the extremely competitive and talent filled northwest is choosing the little Hansa 303 and proving how competitive it can be in high level club racing and getting results.
Well done Richard !!
