Hansa EurosTeam shortlisted for RYAS award
Hansa have been shortlisted for the RYA Sailability Awards in the category “Team of the year”. This is in recognition of the achievements and effort made by our sailors and fantastic volunteers at the Hansa European Championships 2017 in Meze. Thank you all.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner @7pm Saturday 17th February, to be held at the RYA National Sailability Conference, Wyboston Lakes Executive Centre in Bedfordshire.
We were given 2 tickets for the team to attend the event, and we have decided to give these to Lindsay Burns and Chris Emmet. Lindsay for her achievement of finishing 2nd in the 2.3 class, and her ongoing massive contribution to the class; and Chris for arranging our team kit for the event, as well as receiving an award for being the oldest competitor at the event -lol.
There are many sailors and volunteers from the team who will be attending the awards ceremony, and if we are fortunate enough to win, it would be great if we could all go up to receive the prize.
