Scottish Access Regatta - Castle Semple news article
Castle Semple Centre, part of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park would like to invite any and all Access 2.3, 303 and Liberty Class Sailors to the first Scottish Access Class Regatta on 15th & 16th June 2013.
We became Scotland’s first RYA Sailability Centre of Excellence in 2011 and have been steadily building the numbers of active sailors in the area over the past year.
Along with our resident sailing club we are looking forward to a fun filled weekend of racing on Castle Semple Loch.
The Centre is only 15 minutes’ drive from Glasgow Airport and has great train links to the centre of Glasgow only 20 minutes away.
We will have 6 Access 303’s at the centre for the regatta. Some of the boats will be available for sailors who don’t have one or can’t bring their own on a first come first served basis,

Boats are welcome to arrive on the Friday before the event and have free
storage in our locked compound for the duration of the event. Practice sailing will be on offer with free race coaching for those that want it from the centre instructors on the Friday.
A pontoon hoist is available along with a range of other equipment to help
everyone access the water safely.
